One of Dave Geiser's typical one-man comic books, full of drinking, sex with fat women and ugly, obnoxious people. The main story is "Saloon," which follows a little guy named Shorty as he wanders around town and visits his favorite bar where he drinks his night away. On this particular night he gets picked up (literally) by a fat woman who's trying to prove a point to her fantasy man.

Like a lot of Geiser stories, the plot can be a bit confusing, but there are some solid scenes and panels to be found. Geiser produced some pretty mediocre comics and I suppose this is one of them, but I'd say it's on the slightly better side of his comic-book ouevre. Geiser is an acquired taste and some will never acquire that taste, but for his fans this is one for the library. For his best work, check out Demented Pervert and Edge City.
