Jay Lynch provides
a nice cover for a comic that just barely deserves one (also see Roxy
Funnies). The comic is mostly made up of one- and two-page strips and there are a few decent ones, but there's quite a bit of weak material too. However, you may enjoy some of the interesting curiousities, like the nastiest drawing that I've ever seen
from Justin Green, and Lynch's wife, Jane, taking a crack at cartooning, including her own story about Nard from Nard n' Pat.
There's also an unsettling story by Willem (Dutch cartoonist Bernhard Willem Holtrop) about aborted fetuses who survive being flushed into the sewer and come back to murder town folk. This peek into Willem's work may not be not the best introduction to his cartooning, but if you can stomach this one you just might turn into a fan.
