No Ducks! is a bit of a schizophrenic little series. The first issue states "Rated PG" on the cover, and they ain't kidding. While a bit subversive, there's nothing in this funny animal comic that would scare or offend a 12-year-old, much less mom and dad. Some of the stories and characters are even—dare I say—cute. And several of them are pretty stupid, which is kind of astounding since Tim Boxell was in charge of the editing.

The cute, family-friendly first issue is followed by the second, which is where the multiple personalities diagnois comes in. No Ducks! #2 ramps up the vulgarity level considerably, with cussing, nudity, murder, rebellion and animal sex. Other than that, it's just like the first. Cuz, you know, it has no ducks.
