Mother's Oat Comix #3 came
out six years after the previous issue and by then the social climate
(as well as the world of underground comics) had radically changed, which
means the content here did, too. Dave Sheridan and Fred Schrier are still
the major contributors and the quality of the artwork is nearly as good as the second issue, but the story plots and tone are just a bit less mind-bending
than before.
