REVIEW SCORE9
Dr. Wirtham's #9 is also a double-sided comic book, but this time it is only considered one issue instead of two. The book contains 60 pages
of solid contributions from the likes of Mike Roberts, Jay Kinney and
Ed Watson. Highlights include Gary Dumm and Greg Budgett's delightful
"The Complete Videots," Joe Zabel's ephemeral tale about two sisters,
"A Vacant Lot," and Watson's morbidly perverse "Illustrated Detective
Stories." There is also a nice sampling of one-page erotic pin-up art
that ranges from the sublime to the bizarre. HISTORICAL FOOTNOTES:
It is currently unknown how many copies of this comic book were printed. It has not been reprinted.
