It took Larry Todd about two years to come back to Dr. Atomic and produce a third issue, and this time around he doesn't quite match his epic storytelling from issue #2. This comic is comprised of five stories, starting with "Dr. Atomic Meets the Loch Ness Monster," in which Dr. Atomic, Billy and "Crazy" Crosby join Billy's girlfriend, Holly, on a business trip to Scotland. The men get into a bit of trouble when Billy snares the Loch Ness Monster and ends up slaughtering it to death. It all ends well, except for the headless mythological monster.
Four more stories follow; "Dr. Atomic and Mr. Hyde," "Dr. Atomic and the Flying Saucers," "Pot Bust," and "Let's Go Hang Gliding with Dr. Atomic." The best of those are "Dr. Atomic and Mr. Hyde" and "Pot Bust."
