AVERAGE SCORE 7
Bijou Funnies #2 is more ambitious and daring than #1, though only marginally so. There is more political content ("New Left Comics," "Tuna Fart Funnies") and drug references ("A.W. Reet," "Sammy Smoot Visits the Intergalactic World Brain"). The second issue is quite good, but Bijou Funnies was still building towards its peak.

HISTORICAL FOOTNOTES:
For the complete printing history of Bijou Funnies #2, see the Historical Notes for the 2nd printing. Kitchen Sink printed approximately 10,000 copies of Bijou Funnies #2 for the 3rd printing. The 3rd printing has a 50-cent cover price and a Kitchen Sink logo on the front cover. It is sometimes mistaken (or fraudulently sold) as the 1st printing because it states on the inside front cover "Printing number 54321. First Krupp printing November 1972."
