REVIEW SCORE 6
S. Clay Wilson provides the terrific cover for this issue, which features two major stories; "The Hashida Gold" by Ron Harris and "Warrior" by Chris Metz. Neither is particularly brilliant, but "The Hashida Gold" offers a decent tale of greed and irony and "Warrior" has a charming raunchiness to it (note: while Metz is a talented illustrator, he never learned how to draw a vagina). But the pure sugar candy in this comic is the center spread; a four-page, full-color story by S. Clay, "Babbs Crabb and her Friend Bernice Meet the Male Chauvinist Peg." The back cover art, by the inimitable Ed Watson, is too sweet for words. Yum yum!
