Armageddon #2 begins with the story of Wolfgang Von Bock and Scarlet Ann Deneb, two scientists who die on a space mission before being reincarnated on "New Earth." The second half of the comic launches the adventures of Washington Jones (a black gold miner) and Hunk Smith (a white logger), who each takes on a wife of a different race before pairing up to launch their own business and then launch into a little wife swapping. All of this gives writer/illustrator Barney Steel ample fuel to create more passionate sex scenes. He also provides some socio-political commentary that is both insightful and funny.

There are two printings of this comic book, both by Last Gasp. The 1st printing (20,000 copies) has a 50-cent cover price. The 2nd printing (10,000 copies) has a $1.00 cover price.
